The Friar’s Fork was founded by husband and wife team, Denise Vigil & Nealson Vialpando. Denise has 30 years of experience in the hospitality/restaurant industry and paired with Nealson's ability to build about anything, this dream at last is a reality. The Friar's Fork & Sanctuary was created in the footprint of the former historic St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Alamosa and is the ideal buiding & location! The Friar's Fork serves Italian/Mediterranean Cuisine with the Sanctuary being an upscale cocktail lounge & coffee house. It's a place where people from all over the San Luis Valley can meet to enjoy our tasty dishes and comfortable atmosphere. The Friar's Fork mission is to be a blessing to it's employees and the guests we serve.

Open six days a week: Closed Wednesday 11:00 am - 2:00 pm (weekdays only) and 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm. The Sanctuary is open all day starting at 8am & closed Wednesdays
